The Art Appreciation group visits a variety of galleries, exhibitions and studios on an ad hoc basis. We usually start or end the trip with a coffee together and where possible arrange for an art guide to help enhance our understanding of exhibitions. The group has a membership of 65, but individual trips attract a smaller number, usually from 10 to 20 members.
We covered the following eclectic range, from paintings to textiles to photography and modern to more traditional art between May 2024 and June 2025:

- Kimono: Kyoto to Catwalk, V&A, Dundee
- Hospitalfield House, Arbroath
