Our events programme includes a registration day at the start of the session, our AGM at the end of the session, a series of open meetings and occasional social events - these are additional to our group activities. Some events arranged by other organisations are shown on the Non-Perth u3a Events page.
Open meetings are normally held in St Matthews Church with coffee or tea and a chance to chat from 10am, and announcements and a talk starting at 10.30am. Dates are given below - they are all on Monday morning of week 1 of our Outline schedule 2025-26. Past talks have covered a wide variety of topics of interest to members from butterflies to Jacobite history. When the details are finalised, they are added here. The announcements are also shared in our News Roundups.
If you have a question about an event, or a suggestion for an event, contact Don or Jon, our Events Coordinators.
Here are some pictures from the first open meeting of 2025-26. The speaker, Allan Condie who stepped in at very short notice, talked about 'The development of churches in Perth'.
