The group has a simple aim - we knit while we natter. The natter bit is very important as, during the Covid epidemic, we missed meeting up and socializing with each other.

We also share what skills we have, so that if a member is struggling with a pattern or a stitch, more than one person is able to help. We exchange patterns, and pass on information about knitting shows, for example in Glasgow, or about nearby shops selling wool and other craft materials. Also if we have extra wool we do not need, we bring it to the meeting for anyone who would like it and if all not taken it goes to a charity shop.
