Each month we choose a different opera on YouTube which may be watched by members at home. The particular performance may not necessarily be from one of the 'great' opera houses but from a wide range of sources. At the meeting that particular performance will be discussed and compared with excerpts from another version. It is interesting to see how many different points of view are held by members.

In 2023-24, we used operas from Monteverdi, Handel, Beethoven, Verdi, Puccini, Donizetti, Menotti, and Gay. We had a regular attendance of about 8, with 1 or 2 less regular visitors.
