Our group name gets to the heart of what we do! We all have some knowledge of Spanish, but are working at different levels. Most sessions, a new member or two joins the group bringing fresh ideas and perspectives. We've tried various ways of improving our understanding and skills, from reading a Spanish novel to playing word games. In 2022-23, we successfully tried a format in which each member took a turn in choosing a topic and finding resources for that topic.

We decided in 2023-24 to keep the same successful format as this allows us to study a number of topics ranging from the environment, geography, music, maths and many more! Members agree that researching information is greatly beneficial to our knowledge of the language as well as the diverse cultural aspects it produces.
