Our purpose is to enable people to find like-minded travel companions and to potentially organize group travel where appropriate, either led by an individual or using a travel company.
We use R&B Travel in Perth for some of our arrangements - they have a long-standing relationship with our u3a. Also, by booking with Riviera tours, we receive a donation to u3a.
Summary of u3a Travel Group Activities 2025-26
Below is a summary of the various travels undertaken through 2025 and 2026 that were either undertaken through the group or as a consequence of the group membership.
2025
April: 6 group members travelled to Bologna and Mantua
May: 5 members did a 'city break' trip to Gdansk
June: 3 members did a Newmarket tour to Puglia, Italy
November: Ambassador cruise to the Caribbean, 4 members
2026
Dec/Jan/Feb: various members did trips to the Caribbean, Malta, Lanzarote, Sri Lanka with the Maldives.
May: Bergamo Italy, 2 members did a city break here.
June: 9 members went to Saxony, Dresden and surrounds.
July: 6 members went on a Baltic cruise with Ambassador.
