Members of Perth u3a can choose between more than 70 interest groups, from board games to walking and everything in between. There's a list of our groups here - just click on the group name to find out more. If you can't find what you're interested in, contact Ray, our Groups Coordinator. Ray's also the person to contact if you have an idea for a new group.

To join a group, email the group leader. Find the group on the Groups page, and use the group email link. You can also join at Registration, which takes place in late August every year. And if you're not already a member of Perth u3a, remember that you'll need to join us before you can join any of our groups.

Most Groups meet every four weeks, with some meeting fortnightly and some every week. A few, such as the walking groups, continue to meet over the summer months. Otherwise, the Perth u3a session begins in late August, breaks over Christmas and New Year, and then continues until late April or early May. Don't be discouraged if a group is marked 'Waiting List' - it's still worth contacting the group leader, because you'll be added to the waiting list. Group leaders endeavour to manage waiting lists so that as many as possible get a chance to participate. You can help by telling the leader when you can't attend. Be aware that you may be removed from a group if you're absent three times without notifying the leader.
